During our recent tour of the Czech Republic, where we spent about a week exploring Czech food and Czech wine, we took a morning Prague food tour. During our tour (yes during it) we sat down and shared some beers with Jans, of Taste of Prague food tours.
Over the course of our tour, we learned an amazing amount about the history of Czech food, a lot of which we had never heard before, even on prior trips to Prague. Jans also talked about the trends in Czech cuisine. This food travel podcast episode takes place in an actual Czech pub. Yes, there’s some clinking and bar noise in the back ground. But, isn’t that part of traveling in the Czech Republic?
Also, check out our Taste of Prague video on YouTube:
The Taste of Prague food tour lasts approximately 4 hours and costs EUR 96 per person. The food tours are purposely kept small, but they can handle groups up to “8 hungry people.”
